'Shiveringly good suspense!' Lisa Gardner on You Don't Want to Know

'She is one of the best' Harlan Coben on You Don't Want to Know

Some places earn their bad reputation through tall tales. Grizzly Falls is different. Here, killers aren't just the stuff of legends. Someone is in the nighttime shadows, watching the local teens in the moonlit woods. Waiting for the right moment, the right victim. Waiting to take away a life.

Detective Regan Pescoli is counting the days until her maternity leave. Exhausted and emotional, the last thing she needs is another suspected serial killer. Especially when her daughter, Bianca, is swept up in the media storm.

Another body is found...and another. And as the nightmare strikes closer to home, Pescoli races to find the terror lingering in the darkness, where there are too many places to hide...and countless places to die...

Really quite disappointed in this book!! I am an avid fan of lisa jackson, I have read every book and love her series of books and there are a few...I waited with anticipation for this book and to be honest I only gave it a 3 as I still love the main characters. It was for lack of a better word...boring and unrealistic I have to try extra hard to stay awake and turn the pages...lisa where did the suspense go.. the other characters that make your cast where unlikable and the plot was..painfully slow and just not evil enough for the killer you portrayed at the start.

I love Lisa Jackson books and couldn't wait for this to appear on my Kindle last week, I have to say I am very disappointed and find my self skipping through most of it, I am currently at 72% of the book, I doubt I'll make it to 100%, I feel like I am reading a Scooby Doo book and I'm waiting for the mask to be taken off to reveal who the Sasquatch really is.

It seems a long time since Book 6 but it was certainly worth the wait. I love that the author always leaves you with a hook into the next book. Unfortunately that means I am now desperate for book 8. If you have not read any of the series you need to start at the first one. Her characters are real and the detective' s histories add to rather than detract from the story.
